100 Year Commemoration Plaque of Napoleon Bonaparte, 1869

This plaque is commemoration for the life of Napoleon. Dated 1869.

Full Tranlsation:

In Memory of Napoleon Bonaparte, born in Ajaccio on the 15th of August, 1769, Emperor of the French on March 18th 1804, Crowned on December 2nd of the same year, King of Italy, the 26th of March 1805, Protector of the Confederation of the Rhine, Mediator of the Swiss Confederation.

Died at Saint Helene, the 5th of May at Six O’clock at night, 1821 (51 years and 8 months old). To his Companions in Glory as his last thoughts.

In Memory of the 100 year anniversary of Napoleon, August 1869.

Condition: Nicks and Rubs to frame; Small missing glazing in one spot on plate (just to the right of the coat of arms as seen in photos)
