This Edwardian ( not a reproduction) mesh parure is loaded with some high relief ornamentation and is just too nice for words. The mesh is the old type with hundreds of tiny links and it really moves well and is not stiff. The center pieces for both the slide bracelet and choker are quite large ( 1 ¾" wide and 1 ¼" thick). The pieces have aged well with no damage. The choker has a wonderful etched slide in clasp with coral beads. The center pieces for both pieces has wired on beads. The 1 ¾" wide bracelet will fit most any wrist since it is a slide. And the choker is 16" around the neck with an additional 2 ¼" drop. This has good weight to it and you can tell it was an expensive piece when first purchased. Other than some wear on the back of the bracelet to the gold plate it is in great condition . Truly a wonderful set!
