This unusual inkwell was used during Civel War Time. It has a wooden case with a small glass inkwell inside. The top screws open to reveal the inkwell. T is a seal in the top of the lid which prevents ink from spilling out during travel. T is a very small crack (1/8th inch)at the bottom of the wood case which does not interfer with the overall effect. Buyer pays S.+ H.
