The sword is 19th century ;In hoc signo vinces on scabbard - Eugene Allen engraved on blade , that has other decorations as well - We believe this to be a ceremonial sword - for special dress occasions -A very nice eBayer emailed that this sword was "Knights Templar " although I can not verify this at this time -- we welcome questions and other information.
