Madame Alexander, Unmarked circa 1920, "Red Cross Volunteer" all cloth collectible doll. Although unmarked she appears to have been made by Madame Alexander in the early 1920s. Madame did not mark many of her earliest creations.It is believed that Madame created her as a tribute to all Red Cross Volunteer Workers.(Madame was a Red Cross Volunteer in the c1920's) The doll is wearing the original clothes that are believed to have been made by Madame. There is rubbing on her nose. Her legs are worn in spots and have been taped with Scotch tape. *Her overall condition is fair.
