Genuine old polychromed cast iron garden gnome. We used to think garden gnomes were tacky until we saw a dozen of them in the rock garden at Nemours, one the exquisite DuPont estates in Wilmington, Delaware. The Nemours gnomes came from Czechoslovakia early in the last century. This fellow has an expressive face, detailed beard and nice animated pose.

13-1/2" tall. Made of two pieces of cast iron connected with screws.

Very Good condition. Some minor Paint loss and a bit of oxidation, no serious damage or wear.
