Franciscan Gladding McBean El Patio White Matte Handle Vase. El Patio was the first dinnerware produced by Gladding McBean and the first to carry the name Franciscan. Started in 1934, its simple lines and rich colors made it the anchor of the Franciscan line for over 20 years. It's classic beauty is still in demand today. This vase has double handled and a slight ringed pattern that is molded into the top edge of the vase. This mark was used prior to the Franciscan Pottery mark and was only used from 1934 to 1938.
