A nice pair of bean-back 14K yellow gold cufflinks with Art Nouveau decoration by Alling Bros. The oval faces have beautiful engraved floral decoration in the Art Nouveau taste, the central flowers set with round old European cut blue sapphires. The sapphires have the medium-light coloring and clarity often seen in Montana sapphires frequently used by American makers at the time. The connectors are stamped with Allings hallmark and 14K. Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 3/4" x 17/32. Weight: 8.0 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: .18 ct.
